Keeping industry best practice in mind, our smart design Gondola Work Cages (GWC) are cost-effective and safeguard your personnel, allowing them to get the job done – safely and efficiently. The expanding/collapsing mechanism enables the user to serve both 20 ft. and 40ft. bays interchangeably which saves time and money without compromising on personnel protection. Customisable and designed to carry up to 4 workers from the ground level to the topmost container stows on the ship while connected to the spreader of the quay side container crane, the Gondola Cage allows personnel to work safely within its confines in order to allow clear and safe access to the twistlock corner pockets and lashing equipment on board. Made to fit ISO-standard 20 ft. and 40 ft. twistlock centres, each Gondola Cage is subjected to comprehensive testing – in accordance with global statutory regulations – to ensure protection and full compliance with GLOBAL safety legislation for man-carrying equipment.
