A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed by two DP World entities, with the aim to collaborate on projects and customer relationships, and cultivate business opportunities.
World Crane Services (WCS), based in our Jebel Ali Freezone in Dubai, and CARGOES Ports and Terminals, formerly known as Zodiac, have entered into an agreement to share knowledge and expertise. The MOU contains a detailed framework to promote cooperation through complementary and integrated services.
Both WCS and CARGOES Ports and Terminals have co-hosted a number of delegations at Jebel Ali to discuss how they can add value to customers and partners. While WCS offers industry-wide expertise, Cargoes Ports and Terminals can support with terminal operating systems that bring a new level of efficiency to operations.
Matthew Hoag, Senior Vice President of Global Operations & Engineering, said: “We are incredibly fortunate to have both WCS and Cargoes Ports and Terminals as part of our wider group family. Beyond their proven track records and technical abilities, the strength of these two prestigious and independent brands provides the ability to draw upon the wider resources and vast experience of our Group – this is something that clients feel very assured by.”
The MOU is the first step in efforts to develop future opportunities to collaborate and capitalise on the offerings of both entities.
